Saturday 1st July and PlannerFest is fast approaching (more info below about tickets etc) so I thought now would be a good time to give you a heads up about what you can expect to see from me there, and what goodies I’ll be bringing with me!
It’s no secret how much I love using stamps in my planner(s), so this event really does feel like a perfect fit, both for the business and for me as a planner-lover.
The big thing to say is that the entire range of clear stamps will be with me, which includes the popular chronodex layouts and the bee-themed collections. No matter whether you’re a business planner, content creating guru or just like to keep yourself organised these sets can be used in so many different ways.
The joy of the clear stamps is how portable they are, and that you’ll only need one acrylic block (or maybe two depending on size) to use them. These make them perfect for planners who do lots of travelling and/or who regularly mix up their spreads and like some variety. Plus they’re quick and easy to clean, maintain and store too making them a really practical choice for so many people. Which is exactly why I’m bringing them with me.
Whilst I might bring a selection of wooden handled stamps with me (stock dependent), what I won’t have with me are the self-inking stamps as logistically space is going to be quite limited. But that leads me neatly on to say that…..
If you’d like a wooden or self-inking stamp - custom or a standard design - if you place your order in advance I can bring it with me for you to collect on the day!
And that doesn’t just apply to the planner stamps! So if you’ve got your eyes on some of the business stamps, or even the teacher gifts, and can collect from Manchester then I can get it made up and hand it over to you in person (and hopefully have a lovely chat too!).
Finally my most popular planner stickers and some washi tape will be making it in to my case as well. These are great add-ons for those days where you want a slightly quicker planner spread but still want a bit of colour too, not to mention they go well as a little gift set with a stamp too.
What else is there at Planner Fest?
Of course I’m not the only small business who’s going to be there! A quick look at the Plannerfest social media channels and you’ll see the huge range of businesses you can shop with, and the vast array of styles and tools that’ll be available too. As well as the shopping area there’ll be Creativity Stations (for everyone, not just VIPs) where you can try out different pens, papers and tools you might not have come across before as well as put together new styles of layouts and even make up their own mementos they can add to spreads later on! And let’s not forget to mention the wonderful stall-holders who’ll be on hand to chat all things tips, tricks and stationery/planner/journal related.
If you haven’t already been following the Plannerfest social media channels I highly recommend taking a look, and even if you can’t make it to Manchester all the small businesses participating are listed so there’s ample opportunity to find some fantastic new businesses you’ve not come across before.
If you might be able to make it to Manchester there’s still time to secure a ticket - entry to the shopping zone starts at just £10 (not including booking fee) and depending on when you’re reading this there might be VIP tickets still available too (booking closes on the 19th June so if you can still get one grab it before they go!).
I can’t wait to get to Manchester, and if you are coming do pop across and say hi - can’t wait to meet you!
Find more info at https://plannerfest.co.uk/ as well as links to all levels of tickets.
The event is being held at Manchester Central, so is easy to find close to the cit centre with mainline train, Metro and bus stops close by. Doors open to VIPs 9am-6pm and general public 10am-5pm. Day tickets are available on the door, but they’re slightly more expensive than the advance booking price.
