For those with kids there’s one thing on the horizon coming at us even quicker than the summer holidays…… Teacher Gifting!
My kid's teachers, just like yours I’m sure, are fantastic and have been wonderfully supportive and incredibly resilient after what has been a crazy 18 months. I wholeheartedly support showing our appreciation for teachers, but I’d be lying if I didn’t sense the pressure around teachers gifts a bit too – you want to show your gratitude but not be too over-bearing, say thanks but keeping in mind that it takes more than one teacher to run a class too.
For me the best teachers gifts are ones that fit within a modest budget (which I realise is subjective from person to person), shows some thought and which can be useful or kept but without it being too precious too. And what sorts of shops excel in these exact criteria? Independent small businesses!
So here’s my pick of 10 great teacher gifts – from me and other north-east creatives – some of which can be personalised, and all of which can be posted to anywhere!
Don’t forget that if you want something personalised it doesn’t have to be expensive but it likely will take a little longer so best to order sooner rather than later!

Whichever way you choose to say thanks to any teachers you know, I'm sure they'll be over the moon with the thoughtfulness that's gone in to the gesture (and that they'll finally get a little a bit of a break from our little angels!)!
